Vegan cheesy roasted cauliflower

My first thoughts on nutritional yeast is “this stuff looks like fish food” 

But once you get over the look it packs a new awesome vegan “cheesy” punch.

Cashew cheese sauce, sprinkle over salads, add to cauliflower pizza bases, add to anything really.. 

Today I’ve made cheesy roasted cauliflower 🙂 and it’s yummy…

Recipe and Directions 

  • 1/2 head of cauliflower chopped into nuggets
  • 1/2 Tbs coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1 tsp Tumeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • Himalayan Salt and cracked pepper to taste.

Press heat oven on fan forced 180°C 

Chop cauliflower into florets and place in a bowl. 

Add the oil and toss. Then add spices, nutritional yeast, and salt and pepper. Toss again until all coated. 

Line a tray with baking paper and spread cauliflower out evenly. 

Bake for 20 minutes.  

I made mine quite big. But you can cut the cauliflower into any size you prefer.
