Smoothie bowls

Perfect brekky in the warmer months and a great way to use up any left over fruit

 If I have mangoes, bananas, kiwifruit, berries that aren’t being eaten I’ll slice them up, pop them in a zip lock bag and into the freezer for smoothies.

I love making smoothie bowls because it means I get to decorate and get creative. There are no rules. Use your favourite fruits and veggies (carrot cake smoothie bowls 👌👌👌) 

You don’t have to use banana as a base. Use frozen roast beetroot, frozen mango, berries, frozen cauliflower  (again don’t knock it til you try it) I’ll throw in a few variations for you to try under the photos.

1/3 cup oats (ground to flour)

1/2 frozen banana

1/4 cup almond milk

1 serve protein powder

1/4 cup beetroot Juice 

Blend and top with whatever your heat desires.

Carrot cake smoothie bowl

Handful of ice

1/4 cup almond milk

1/3 cup oats

1 medium carrot

Pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

(Add sweetener if using plain protein powder)

Raspberries n cream

1/2 cup frozen raspberries

1/3 cup oats

1/4 cup coconut milk

1 serve vanilla protein powder
