Carrot cake oats

Veggies for breakfast?? Yes please πŸ˜‹

1/2 cup oats

1 cup dairy free milk or water

I grated carrot

1/4 cup chopped walnuts

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp ginger

1 tsp maple syrup (more if needed)

I serve protein powder (optional) 

Heat milk, oats, and carrot in a sauce pan and cook to instructions. 

In the last 2 minutes add the rest of your ingredients and stir well. Serve with favourite toppings
